The REC-558U utilizes all the best features of the previous four thousand series compression tool with rapid ram advance hydraulic mechanism for faster operation. It squeezes commonly used service entrance connectors, lugs, sleeves, H and C tap. It can be easily carried and used in limited access areas because of its swivel head and compact design. Attached quick reease pins make changing between compression head and cutting head a one minute job, with no pins or springs to lose! This revolutionary design eliminates the need for multiple tools at one job site. The optional 25CAT cutter attachment can slice nonferrous cables up to 25mm.
